MOLD REMOVAL AND REPAIR
Mold removal and repair in Yakima, before the water damage turns into a second problem
A recent flood or leak can leave mold behind. We inspect at no charge, any hour, then remove it and repair what it got into.
Chapter 01
Why mold follows water into a Yakima building
Mold rarely shows up alone. It follows a flood, a burst pipe, a roof leak or any other water event, especially when the building is not properly guarded afterward. A wet basement in the valley that sits for a few days is exactly where mold gets a foothold.
That is why the order of work matters. Complete Restoration and Construction dries the structure and treats mold as part of the same job, not a separate problem found months later behind a wall. Our crew works out of Yakima and responds 24/7/365.
If you had water in the house or shop recently and something seems off, call (509) 388-1175. Waiting does not make mold smaller, and mold growing indoors can cause allergies and make you feel sick.

A no-charge inspection, any hour of the year
Complete Restoration and Construction can inspect and assess your property at no charge, 24/7/365. That includes nights, weekends and holidays, because a mold suspicion does not keep office hours. Call (509) 388-1175 and a Yakima crew can come take a look.
Here is what to check yourself first. A strong, musty odor is the first sign for many people. Visible growth is usually gray, black or blueish green. Look around doors, windows and vents, and down in the basement. Mold can show up even where humidity is normal or low, though the higher the humidity, the more it grows.
If the inspection finds mold damage, we move on to removal. If it finds nothing, the visit cost you nothing.
Chapter 03
Removal and repair, so it does not come back
A good removal job does three things. It keeps cross-contamination from carrying spores into clean rooms, it keeps the people in the building safe while the work happens, and it stops the mold from returning. Cleaning mold stirs up spores, so how the work is done matters as much as what gets removed.
Mold is often hidden until the removal of moldy materials begins, so the scope can grow once baseboards, cabinets or drywall come off. Because we are also a construction company, the same crew that takes out the damaged material can put the room back together. The repair does not wait on a second contractor.
